Phone speakers sound quality differs between apps

Hallo, ich verwende Spotify, um Musik über die Lautsprecher meines Telefons zu hören. Es gibt einen merkwürdigen Unterschied in der Klangqualität, wenn ich auf Spotify spiele und wenn ich zu YouTube wechsle, ist der Klang besser, der Bass ist stärker und es gibt nicht so viele Verzerrungen.

Hello, I use Spotify to listen to music on phone speakers. There’s a odd difference in Sound quality where playing on Spotify and when I switch to YouTube the sound is better, the bass is stronger and not so much distortion.

I had same problem with my Pixel, go to Spotify app settings and toggle ‘Normalise volume’ to OFF. Also try increasing the quality to very high for both mobile data and WiFi. Hope this fixes the issue!

Even after that as well . Happening. Also low volume audio bug is there. Sometimes even at 60% volume is superlow

I don’t have this issue: audio is powerful and clear on my device. I noticed that Spotify had very low output but the turning off the audio normalisation made the trick.

I’ve also observed that it’s an issue with Instagram videos too. The bass is almost non-existent in the audio and when the volume is say above 50% the speakers seem to be struggling. The treble is too much and unpleasant on ears. But only on YouTube the sound is far better, it’s crisp clear and powerful.

Is anybody else facing this issue that the speakers sound quality isn’t the same between apps or say it isn’t even average it’s downright just annoying. I had posted 2 days ago too, it seems to hv been removed.

Today the speakers hv decided to just remian low. Even my other $200 phone has better speakers and consistency. Does nobody has any issue with sound? I don’t understand if it’s only an issue with my device.

There is a definitive issue with audio, whether that be speaker volume, ear volume, stereo being disabled, multiple issues & you’re not alone, it’s on discord, this latest firmware has created allot more bugs like these.

Hope this gets fixed in the next update. The speakers are great if tuned properly, infact an equaliser option or different sound modes to choose from would give more flexibility to users.

I can hardly hear calls when on speakerphone it’s terrible so low volume that is impossible to use the speaker phone anymore, they need to fix this as soon as possible along with the touch screen issues as yet again a touchscreen failed to work while I was trying to dial a phone number and when the call connected the speaker volume was so low I had to hang up

Yes I have phone 2 and I am also experiencing the same issue with sound. It’s loudness is not consistent. Sometimes it is too quiet even at 50% volume level. The same happens with earpiece during call also.

Could someone explain to me why there is such a huge difference between the audio quality of YouTube and other streaming services (YT Music, Spotify, Deezer)? By far, I’m talking about power, quality, clarity, bass, etc. On YouTube, you can see that the speakers are being used to their full potential. Why isn’t that possible on other services?

It never happened with my Samsung z flip 5, nor with my Google pixel 7, I really like the Nothing Phone 2, but there are some things that make me regret my decision to buy it…
