Right everyone, after finding time between illness & life, I’ve managed to check my screen flatness with factory protector on & off.

100% these screens are fitted badly or are just rubbish screen manufacturing.

I have filmed my phone with the protector on still & you can clearly see the ripples down each side of the phone.

For completeness to prove it’s not the protector, I removed this so it’s just the screen, I’ve also filmed this & the ripples are still there.

This is bad manufacturing or hardware, they can’t argue this & I’m going to the store in London today to get this sorted one way or another cause I’m fedup with this shoddy support & attitude for a £700 phone.

I’ve got phones that are nearly 15 years old that have completely flat screens, I’ve got 2 samsungs & pixel 8 series in front of me that have zero issues with the screens, this is just unacceptable.

Before anyone jumps on the bandwagon of, you must have dropped it or damaged, no, zero damage, case since day one there’s not 1 single mark or scratch on the handset, I’m very very meticulous with how I use my phone to avoid damage.

From my technical experience, this looks like they sealed the top layer on badly or they’ve crammed the screen into the casing that’s just too small & it’s created ripples, regardless it’s Nothings responsibility to own up to these issues.

I’ve seen other users with the same issue, so it’s not just my handset & this is why people are getting bubbles down the sides of the phone when applying glass protectors, tpu will ripple but stick down, but nano will bubble by very nature as it’s not a flat screen & it’s glass to glass.

Please check your phones for the side ripples you have to hold upto the light & dark screen & rock back & forth as per my videos.

Ok, well I think I’m going to make the return and in the Christmas sales I’ll opt for another phone, a shame because I’m coming from a €250 mi10t lite and I’ve never had any problems.

SergioMart_nez_ztk3HxjDIX You can’t fix the ripples via software & tbh if this is a glue issue & the heat is causing the glue to become tacky & touch response is diminished due to this, hypothetical btw, then it’s hardware fix & it may only just have started for some as it takes while for usage to heat up the factory seals, who knows, but it’s clearly evident there’s a problem in several areas now proven in my videos for hardware & another owners for software where he shows a paint app showing where it loses touches when moving finger around the screen.

SergioMart_nez_ztk3HxjDIX Return it is my suggestion & my suggestion to anyone considering buying this handset is to think twice as they’re not addressing core issues, 1st the huge audio problem that no firmware beta or stable has resolved & this touchscreen issue that’s now become more widespread & clearly there’s a manufacturing quality control issue, if they’re saying they didn’t know about the uneven displays then that for me is a lie, it’s very obvious to even a user & moreso to a phone builder.

I suspect, they realised there were quite a number of handsets with ripples & the cost to rectify outweighed the potential of fixing when a user pointed it out, it’s simple cost based analysis, bit like the fight club scene regarding the gas tanks in a specific car exploding, never forget that analogy & it’s true, apple batterygate etc.

I told them about the touch problem on the Nothing phone 2
They keep telling me to go to the nearest service center and get it repaired
They do not think about the errors and bugs of the software used in their phone
How to get rid of this touch problem
Who should be told about this problem and error
Does my touch bother you at all?

There is no hardware problem or any fault in the manufacture in my phone 100% good

There are bugs and errors in the software they use

        Touch is not working properly

The performance of the touch is not good when used normally while playing games

        And to you

          Remi F

While using the phone in general, the touch is clicked once or twice
And in the game, if you hold on the fire button, it will stop in the middle of the touch

MahmedJahangeer it’s probably your hardware that has maybe a problem then I don’t know, did you try contacting the support ?
