Whether you want to admit or not, compatible chargers CAN be bought cheaply from the Internet, as can the phones themselves if you are prepared to do just a little bit of research, and the savings can be even larger if you don't have the "must have the latest phone" mentality, but can wait for the inevitable price drop when the phone reaches 9 to 12 months after launch. Given the savings that can be made, I don't resent paying for a separate charger.
And regarding my "cheap, unofficial knock off" charger, it's a branded Nothing charger, which charges the phone at the rate Nothing says it should, so even if it's not the genuine item (and I believe it is) it does exactly what it's supposed to, which a half the price Temu one probably wouldn't.
Whether you like it or not (and you clearly don't), the situation is what it is. But hey, as you don't like it, why don't you dig out one of your old phones that came with a charger and use that ? Really stick it to the man (as if he would care) ! 🙄
