I have a query regarding my watch pro. when the cmf app is open watch works well after clearing recent apps from the phone watch disconnects. so again I have to keep cmf watch app open for the whole day. The app background running option is active on cmf app. Kindly resolve the issue.

If you’ve not already seen, a recent update has been rolled out which aims to improve the stability of the connection between the app and the watch and notification syncing, amongst other things.
Be on the lookout for this update in the play store.

I already updated both the watch app and the firmware app to the latest version but problems still occur. The watch keeps on disconnecting when we close the app. At that time only the caller number is shown on the watch as a notification. when the app is open on the phone the caller’s name will come on the watch and you guys resolved that issue. Could you resolve the disconnection?

tobinroymatheikal Thanks for the update, im sure the team will continue to look into these issues and provide updates accordingly. Based on the changelog for the last update its clear that this is on the radar.

karthikshanker No specific information regarding this however the issue is clearly on the teams radar and I’m sure they will continue to look into it.
I had the same problem on my Moto Edge 40, even after the recent update. What worked for me, based on my past experience with the Realme Link app that had similar issues, was to lock the app in the ‘recent apps’ section so that it doesn’t get cleared from memory. (the Realme Link app had that included in their setup instructions…)
Haven’t missed a single notification since then!
P.S: Locking the app only prevents “clear all” from wiping it from recents. The app will still stop if you manually swipe it off and the notifications will stop coming too…

I updated and reset my watch still I couldn’t get any sort of notification. The Call name bug is cleared, but still there are much to be fixed. Still Names are not shown in recent calls
App unsynch right after when I leave the app. Hoping for a update soon
I have a similar issue to this. Occasionally my watch will just stop communicating with the phone at all. No app updates, no notifications, nothing. The watch says it’s still connected even if I turn my Bluetooth off on my phone/close the CMF Watch app. The only way to fix it I’ve found so far is a complete reboot.
Derren While the call functionality is functioning correctly, notifications are not being received when the app is not in the background.
Am facing same issue why the hell this app always disconnect and why it cannot run in background even after update
