But we have the gallery, weather, pedometer, health app inside Nothing X, and the camera. We still have duplicate apps and widgets, but if they can be made better, or even just prettier, why not? If we’re talking about lightweight, well-made apps, I’d like them.
For example, many people continue to buy smartphones from the same brand precisely because they’re happy with that brand’s native apps, and I don’t think that’s wrong.
I don’t see why Nothing, which is good at widgets and apps, should avoid developing its app ecosystem just because there are some pre-installed Google apps that simply shouldn’t be used (if they can’t be uninstalled).
Maybe they also could interact more simply with the essential space too, I’m not a programmer so I could say heresies, it’s just a thought.
