I’ve finally bought the long-awaited Ear (open). At first glance, I was skeptical about the headphones as I didn’t fully understand their features, but now I see why they’re called “open,” and the experience is nothing short of inspiring. The first impression I got was that the music and sound felt like I was experiencing them in a comfortable 3D environment, which is very positive. It’s similar to listening to 8D music—where the sound feels more atmospheric, as if it’s playing in the room or the surroundings you’re in.
This product isn’t for everyone, especially if you’re a fan of noise-canceling headphones and want the bass to thump in your brain. These headphones offer a gentler listening experience, where you don’t have to worry about being diagnosed with tinnitus.
As many others who have tested Ear (open) have noted, they are ergonomic, featuring a timeless white silicone band that rests over your ear, while the actual “speaker” hovers above your ear, directing sound straight into the canal without causing irritation or occupying the ear openings.
Personally, this product is the best choice of earbuds for me, as I’ve always been bothered by both in-ear and traditional headphones, which feel uncomfortable and tend to produce more earwax. I love the modern, minimalist, timeless, laboratory-like design and the smart functionality.
Thanks for nothing, once again.
