Nach einem Blick auf den Anwendungsfall dieser Funktion ist ich meiner Meinung nach mehr als eine zufällige Presse und da es keine Möglichkeit gibt, den Anwendungsfall der Taste zu ändern, werden sie entweder lieben oder gar nicht verwenden. Aber ich hoffe, sie werden eine Option hinzufügen, um den Anwendungsfall zu ändern und Kamera und andere Option hinzuzufügen. Was denkst du?

It was one of the things I noticed and made my decision to purchase as I have such a need for something like that and voice recorder is not the solution. Hopefully it comes on a future update.

kanishka_0 yes I’ve heard so many people criticizing it but to me it was actually pretty useful. Im still studying so every time I come across a document or an exam time table i tap on the button and it sets up reminders, another useful function i found out was that if I save a movie ticket in my essential space it keeps a reminder an hour before the movie. Pretty cool and useful to me but of course most people wouldn’t agreed but I’d say it’s subjective

One feature I wish the essential space had is better location integration. I would love to be able to just ask it to remind about something when I get home, instead of guessing when I’ll get home and telling it to remind me then.

thanks “nothing” for providing this essential key, im using 3a pro and im and INDIAN, this essential key is really helpful for summarizing each page i take as a screenshot from my pdf. for an indian user its very very useful.

Please, please create an update where I can disable this nonsense. It offers nothing practical - the button position is stupid. I can disable the app, but this does not disable the button. The CMF Pro 2 phone is great, but this button placement is an ergonomic disaster. I know there are methods online for doing this but please just give us an option to ‘KILL’ the button - even just to act as a second power / wake button.

On itself it is just a gimmick to me. It needs integration with external apps for processing. This should be as broad ad possible. Personally I would want my notes to be able to be sent to or imported by Obsidian, but others may have a different workflow. Until then I might as well just use a webclipper.

I have nothing 3a pro and the essential key is something i want to use but it has not any feature that is useful in real life. Also its position is such that i always miss click it instead of power button. Essential key should get AI features like in moto edge 60 pro atleast. And i also think that moto has given the useless ai features in its phones. But atleast it has some features. The essential key has so much potential but it is not utilised well.

While watching a reels without a phone I’ve had ideas of what to save there but while having a phone in a hands these ideas just went😂 and I had no idea what to save there but I wanted to save something there 🙂))

themountofmint Hey, thrilled I could help you figure it out! But heads-up before you start saving stuff: this app requires full access to your entire gallery to function. No picking and choosing, which is a big deal since your gallery likely has personal photos, ID proofs, important screenshots, and more. They can use that data to train their models. Until they implement scoped storage for limited access, consider using this app on a secondary device without sensitive info or be super mindful about keeping personal photos off your phone. Stay smart with your data!

I have Nothing 3 and I really want to start using the essential space but I feel like I’m missing the trick. With screenshots - wouldn’t it be better to be able to crop the part of the screen that’s relevant? Also, when I open the essential space itself with a screenshot in it, it basically shows the same thing 3 times - an event reminder on top with the screenshot, upcoming reminder in the middle that can be ticked as completed and Memory with the screenshot again. Anyone has some good tips how to make it more useful? Thanks so much and apologies if this was discussed.

miloszs I am using the NP3 since over a week now and I yet have to find an actual reason to use the Essential Space.

I still rely on a combination of a note taking app as well as voice recording via the built-in voice recorder app - so far Essential Space couldn’t replace that combo. Maybe I am not giving it a fair chance or can’t really wrap my head around the forced screenshot use, but so far I don’t really see much of a reason to use it. 😶
