When we try to tap and focus on the subject the whole scenario of the camera becomes dark and whole output also is dark then the normal direction

When we don’t tap on the camera for focus the out put is bright and normal

Rajyadav_0bWhdboSju ever hear of AF/AE? Autofocus/Auto exposure? That’s how all digital cameras work and it’s clearly demonstrated above. It is sad that we lost functions from dSLR, like pressing half-day for AE and the full for AF as the AE is set, or options such as those as it’s a very fast way to change EV with a one-finger button press, that you can’t do with a tap-drag on a phone screen.

That’s normal, it’s how the camera works. When you tap on a dark part of what you see then the camera increases the exposure to make that part lighter. When you tap on a light part it will decrease exposure to make it darker (to prevent overexposure). That’s because the camera is trying to balance the overall brightness and to make everything visible.

Hey everyone,

I’ve been using the Nothing Phone (3a) for around 3 months now. When I first got it, the camera performance was amazing — sharp photos, clean image processing, and smooth performance overall. But after the recent software updates, I’ve noticed a big drop in quality and stability.

Now the photos look grainy and noisy, especially in indoor or low-light conditions. The camera app lags, and sometimes even closes on its own. The overall system performance also feels slower — frame rates drop randomly, and the phone occasionally stutters or freezes during normal use.

A few of my friends using the same model are facing similar issues too. One of them mentioned that the phone bugs out and lags heavily while charging, and another even switched to iPhone because of these problems.

Has anyone else experienced these issues after the recent updates? Any official fixes or patches coming soon?

Nothing 3a, In bright sunlight, the photos do not appear accurate or natural. After capturing an image and viewing it, the background seems to be slightly altered automatically, possibly through AI processing. When zooming in, the photos lack clarity and appear noticeably artificial. The same issues persist when using night mode.

Today I was clicking photos of my family on my nothing 3a and I noticed that the quality has been reduced like it felt bad. I checked the settings and everything was perfect but still the issue was there. Then I compared all the photos and yes there was a huge difference between today’s photos and the other days photos.

My phone hasn’t been dropped once. I don’t know why this is happening.If this is happening with others also then please share and tell the solutions for this.

look at this two photo. one is from motorola edge 60 fusion and another is from nothing phone 3a

the 3 a photo have foggy face. and dull face. it happend every time that it make the human portait pele. specially in face.

I don’t know if it’s me or not..its concerning how the quality of nothing 3a camera has decreased recently. I don’t have any regret buying this phone . I love this phone . And I know NOTHING is a developing company . But still I am asking as a concerning customer , please try to find a solution for this.. Still the satisfaction I got from NOTHING has never decreased. I am so sorry if I had made my opinion a little big.Keep making unique phones ……Cheers ❤️

I was using nothing phone 3 (A)pro from one week. And I have noticed issue that every time I am opening the camera it was setting the default megapixel as 12 megapixels.so I need to manually changed to 50 megapixel every time.when I am clicking pictures,so I think it’s a bug or something I hope you fix it as soon as possible so irritating to every use of nothing phone 3(A)Pro
