After the latest two updates I’m having some glitches in the phone, like in the lock screen the notification panel is getting warm light ,but in the home screen the notification panel is just correct light,Also while opening the camera using the shortcut key power butto

,it asked for unlocking the phone but sometimes it’s not like that.

Also sometimes while unlocking the phone, the brightness gets increased and decreases automatically.

Please fix it.

Soumyajit_26 This issue also occurs during biometric prompts — for example, when I’m asked for my fingerprint in apps like my banking app, the screen briefly turns yellow again. The same yellow tint appears even when the phone is just on the lock screen, before any interaction. The lock screen itself isn’t fully white — it has a yellowish tint, and when I unlock the phone, I notice for a split second it switches from that warm tone to the normal (cooler) color. I’ve also recorded a video showing this behavior, where I open apps and the screen turns yellow for a few seconds.

I’m using nothing phone 1

And I’m seeing a warm tint on the notification panel of the lock screen ,and also while using pins to unlock the phone.

But in the home screen,I don’t see such an issue, Now I have set the color to cool at max, then also it’s showing a warm tint on the lock screen, when I put that slider in default then the warm color increases.

aivin_jchiramal I’m also using the Nothing Phone 1 and noticed the same warm tint on the lock screen and PIN screen, especially the notification panel. It goes away after unlocking.

I already reported it through their WhatsApp chat support, so they’re aware of it. If more users report the same, there’s a higher chance they’ll push a fix. So please report it too!

TishankPawar I have sent the log error to the nothing support, which they have forwarded it to the team,so I hope they will fix it.

Hello, as far as I understand, this issue relates to the fingerprint sensor, nothing phones use a optical fingerprint sensor along with a amoled display, and I believe that due to use of cheaper amoled displays this issue is caused. In using a dark theme, gray lines appear, and people on reddit have told me this exact thing, cheap amoled + fingerprint sensor cause this. Unfortunately, you can’t do anything about it, replacing displays won’t fix this if you are wondering. This issue was much more profound in earlier versions and the company released a hotfix to fix it, it made things slightly better, by adjusting colours so the issue was minimized, but since its a hardware issue primarily, it can’t be fixed entirely

I have compared Phone 1 and Phone 3a, as a matter of fact Oneplus 11 R. Display of Phone 1 was warmer compared to the rest on default settings. it could be related to fingerprint but ig it is what it is

Well I can’t comment on that, I haven’t really compared it to anything, it looks pretty vibrant and good to me and I like the colour overall, the purpose of my comment was to explain why some people might be seeing the different tones on lock screen and biometrics prompt screen, its because of the optical fingerprint sensor brightning the screen for reading, anyways, I did not mean to talk about the tone overall. For testing, you can try switching to dark mode and see if same thing goes on? because I read somewhere that they fixed it in dark mode, but only low brightness, you can still the odd colouring upon using the fingerprint sensor, I guess you really can’t do anything about it sadly :_(

stormnot I think it’s more of an software issue, because it was not like this when I got this phone,it’s been showing like this after the latest two updates.

And I don’t think it’s the issue of biometric scan, because this warm tint is also showing in the notification panel and of the lockscreen.

aivin_jchiramal I can’t relate to the problem 🙁 I hope its resolved, I love the colour on my phone np2a, atleast in good brightness, in low brightness, the display just sucks
