EMVCO certification for Nothing Phones

Ma banque refuse le sans contact sur mon Nothing 2a+ parce que le téléphone n’est pas certifié EMVCO, qu’en est il du Nothing 3a?

Je n’ai malheureusement aucune solution, juste attendre et espérer une certification par EMVCo…. Ou changer de banque !

Manu7217 the “can you do something” was’nt adrress to you xD but to nothing 😃
On the EMVCO site, when we see the certification fo the phone 1, 2 or 2a we see delivered dates before the launch dates of the phone… that worries me there is no nothing 3A document on their site …

Edit: I asked the support by their contact form on the website too

Edit2: The support told me they have transmit to the corresponding services. I hope it will move fast

To put the answer from the support:
"Please be informed that the Nothing Phone (3a) and Nothing Phone (3a) Pro have not yet obtained EMVCO certification for contactless payment.

In addition, we currently have no plans to obtain this certification for these specific models."

So wait and see i think

Same case here for the 3A Pro 😕
For the 2A they did it before the official launch.
But for the 3A/Pro, nothing…
And the Phone 1 lost his certification the 17th june 2025…

I tried to ask the person in charge for the last certifications appearing on the EMVCO website.
Hope i’ll get an answer 🤞

Update.

I live in France and Google Wallet with my bank will not work with this phone as it is not on the EMVco list.

I have got arround this by using the Android Wise App.

Creating the new account and adding a new virtual Debit card.

I added funds from my French bank account to the Wise virtual Debit card.

The new card number and details I added to Google Wallet and it works fine.

This may be a work arround for many of you with Nothing phones as I think it is very unlikely they will ever be added to the EMVco list.
