Spotify Not Working Properly with DAC on Nothing Phone 3a

Ich benutze das Telefon __term_0__ (3A) und insgesamt funktioniert es gut. Da es keine 3,5 -mm -Buchse gibt, verwende ich ein Audiocular DAC für Kabel -Audio. Alles funktioniert gut mit YouTube, YouTube -Musik und Apple -Musik - aber ich habe ein seltsames Problem mit Spotify. Beim Hören eines Songs über den DAC spielt er ein bisschen normal, dann schneidet das Audio plötzlich aus und wird durch ein lautes Summengeräusch ersetzt. Spotify zeigt den Song immer noch als Spiel, aber es gibt keine tatsächliche Musik - nur das Summen. Dies geschieht fast jedes Mal, wenn ich Spotify mit dem DAC verwende. Ich habe alles ausprobiert: Aktualisierung des Telefons, das Neuinstallieren und Aktualisieren von Spotify, Löschen von Cache usw. Kein Glück. Hat noch jemand, der sich diesem Problem gegenübersieht oder eine Lösung kennt?

IceIsCold yeah encountering the same issue, but only when the screen goes off, if I’m “browsing” on the phone I don’t face this issue

I have been waiting for the Phone 3 for a long time but this DAC issue with Nothing phones seems to have been ongoing for a long time. I’ll have to rest the phone 3 with a few dacs before buying

This is more related to Android native decoder. If you use Musicolet or any app with its own decoder everything works fine.

Ji_Such_ I’ve been using my KZ ZEX + Audiocular D07 CX31993 setup to listen to audiostories on YouTube and music on YouTube Music - it has absolutely no issues. However, the moment I switch to Spotify and start playing something, it works fine for a few seconds, like 20-30 seconds, and then plays only static noise until I re-plug the DAC+IEM setup. And this issue is exclusive to Spotify and PowerAmp (for my local FLAC library).

Edit: Just recently, I took a call with the same setup and faced the same issue. GOD knows what’s wrong.

PLEASE FIX IT FOR GOD’S SAKE!

Yes, I’ve also been facing the same issue. Checked different DACs, checked different phone, only on Nothing phone 3a with Spotify and with calls sometimes.

Also, this only happens when the phone screen is turned off.

Went to the office nothing store in Indranagar, Bangalore and they asked me to take some logs so they can send it to the company.

IceIsCold same issue here. Spotify plays for 10-20 seconds and then suddenly static noises appear and the sound vanishes.

I’ve been facing the same issue while playing my flac files through Poweramp especially when the screen is turned off so i just wanted to know which Dac do you guys use? Me personally I use the Audiocular D07 CX31993.

IceIsCold same issue here, two JCALLY DACs with different chips, Spotify and Poweramp misbehaving, YouTube and YouTube music work perfectly fine. Hope it’s fixed soon as the whole point of using a good DAC and some decent headphones is audio quality, and if you can’t even play lossless audio from storage then what’s the point.

I’m also facing exactly same issue in my nothing phone 3a pro with audiocular D07 only with spotify I have tried everything usb audio routing option in developers options nothing seems working

After the recent 1 aug update I have found that if in developers options inside

Media transcoding setting" u turn off the setting “ assume app support modern format ” it has started working fine didn’t face the static noise yet

Ayooo guys I think this issue is fixed in the 3a series with the recent update. Let me know for you guys

Ayee people. Nothing has fixed the issue finally. I can listen to music on Spotify both locked and unlocked and the issue is gone.

Well, the audio issue is not entirely fixed in the latest update. You still have to restart your phone change the audio source when this issue occurs. Mostly happens when you unplug and replug the USB earphone or lock your device. Only with Spotify and that’s really painful.

Exact same issue. Even after the update. Contacted support and got told essentially is spotifies fault and to use a third party app to make it work. Really frustrating.

Spotify may not be fully optimized for your Audiocular DAC on the Nothing Phone 3a, even though other apps work fine. This could be related to how Spotify handles USB audio output. Some users have resolved similar issues by adjusting USB audio settings or using different DAC drivers.
