suhantm let me go first! I have just the stuff to talk about.

I’m packing my bags as we speak, super stoked to visit Expo2020. I’ve been looking forward to it for years. Was afraid that COVID would spoil plans but in glad it’s still happening. Well, better late than never I guess 😅

Here I come!

YRJ Yooo that’s exciting, I passed by Dubai 3 times (layovers) in like the past year, but I still haven’t gotten a chance to go there. I so want to experience it first hand! Keep us updated on how your experience is!

YRJ I’m packing my bags as we speak, super stoked to visit Expo2020. I’ve been looking forward to it for years.

I just got home from Dubai and we spent the day there, the same night Coldplay did a set there which was amazing.

I found the whole Expo to be an incredible experience. It’s so well thought out and planned well. Don’t expect to get through more than 5 pavilions in a day though, lots of walking and a bit of queuing. Visit Israel for a cool 360 experience, Germany for a massive ball pit and Switzerland for cool mirrors

Would be great to hear your thoughts after your visit, and which pavilions you went to.

Thanks guys and thanks @Louis ☕️ for sharing your experience. I, however, have bad news. After a gruelling night at the airport I’m back home.

Apparently, my rapid antigen test returned positive and I was denied boarding. I have absolutely no symptoms at all, but the airline authorities only refer to the test report obtained at the airport. I will not be able to take a flight for the next 14 days.

Fwiw, the insurance should take care of the losses incurred.

Let’s talk about travel! Why not? Personally, I’ve not got anything planned yet but being in NY, I’m getting sick of the cold here, planning on going someplace warmer (hopefully) to escape this sedentary. Might go to the West Coast but it’s far fetched.

anunayC I’ve just returned from a holiday to Dubai which was great, really chilled out with the family and great weather. Visiting Spain later on in the year and a few local UK breaks.

Come to the UK in the summer, weather is usually half decent ✌🏻

YRJ Oh man that’s so unfortunate! I hope it’s a false negative and it does not hinder your travel as much! That’s some bad timing sorry to hear that.

YRJ omg no! So sorry to hear this. Before we travelled we had to take a PCR 2 days before flying, which meant we all just self isolated to make sure we could go. Wishing you speedy recovery 🙏

Expo runs until end of March, so you still have time to make it!

Thanks guys, as expected, it was a false negative. My RTPCR came out as negative but the airline won’t consider that, as per directives they only clear you based on what the result of the rapid test is.

It’s disappointing but as Louis ☕️ said, the expo runs until the end of March, I’m already planning the trip before it.

RobIgo Louis ☕️ I agree with Rob. I did a couple with 5 eggs but just the other day I’ve had 3 eggs left at home and it turned out amazing. Much better balance. 3 is the number.

RobIgo Agreed. I had a decision to make:

a) We had 5 eggs remaining and after 3 there was 2 left.

b) I knew we had a food shop coming the next day and wanted to make space for the new eggs.

c) As such, I decided to make the lot

The morale of the story, don’t be greedy! 😆

Okay, so I have an update. I’m finally making a second attempt. If all goes smoothly (and my visa arrives before 6th) I’ll be flying out on the 7th. Fingers crossed for this one 😅🤞
