Hallo allerseits, ##### Ich habe kürzlich auf meinem __term_0__ -Telefon ** (3a) ein Problem mit dem schwarzen Bildschirm ausgesetzt. Hier ist, was passiert ist: Das Telefon war eingeschaltet, aber das Display war völlig schwarz. Fingerabdrucksensor arbeitete. Ich konnte das letzte Audio des zuletzt gespielten Videos in meinen Bluetooth -Ohrhörern hören. Als ich den Ein- / Ausschalter doppelt gepresste, schaltete sich die Taschenlampe ein. Aber ich konnte nicht mit dem Bildschirm sehen oder interagieren. Hi everyone,

I recently faced a black screen issue on my Nothing Phone (3a). Here’s what happened:

The phone was on, but the display was completely black.

Fingerprint sensor was working.

I could hear the last played video’s audio in my Bluetooth earphones.

When I double-pressed the power button, the flashlight turned on.

But I couldn’t see or interact with the screen.

I tried a force restart (holding the power button for ~30 seconds), and luckily the phone booted back with the display working again.

This was scary because everything was running in the background, but the screen was totally black.

💡 My questions:

Has anyone else faced this issue on the Phone (3a)?

Is this a software bug, or should I get the display checked at a service center?

Could this be a display hardware issue, or is it a software glitch

Any suggestions to prevent

it from happening again?

If it worked again after the restart, it’s probably a software bug. Did you import a camera preset beforehand?

pranavsable135 I’m also facing this shame issue currently on 22 sept nearly at 6:30 pm I just opened Google on my and all of the sudden display went completely black(it’s still black) I tried your method but it’s still not working and I talked to nothing customer service and they have guided me to visit their service centre hope the problem gets fixed asap. I think it’s a bug may nothing see’s this issue and try to fix the problem.

I love nothing 3a but let’s see what happens next

Same thing happened to me 10 minutes ago. Holding restart fixed it but what the fuck. This is why i tell anyone asking me about the phone to not buy it. Speakers popping when charging, no notification when battery is at 1% and phone is going to shut down, randomly ur screen goes black while the phone is working… Sad state of software

I am also facing the problem of going the screen black. Although I can feel the vibration of fingerprint sensor on unlock with black screen. And my screen flicker I don't know why. Is this a hardware problem or software

Hey dude just got my phone back after 16 fucking days 😭🙏🏼

Well I can give an idea what can be the issue. So when I visited service centre they said that it was a display issue but even after new display the phone wasn't working then I got a reply from them and the problem was in mother board so they changed it well now it's working completely fine

Hi there from Germany.

I received my Phone 3(a) today with great excitement. After setting it up without any problems, I got a black screen after 2 hours of use. I was able to turn it back on once, but then it randomly restarted several times during operation, and now it’s dead.

I have already contacted support and hope for a replacement. I’m really very disappointed because I read so many positive things about the device before buying it.
