Molocoto yes, like remember what OnePlus also did. They started rolling out early updates for Indian region. While NA and EU gets a month later. Their excuses were more users are in that region so they can track bugs and fix them. That’s what nothing also did by releasing first beta of nothing os 3.0 to 2A series instead of higher end model 2 or 1 , why? Cause it’s the most selling device in Indian region that time.

Having different versions with bug fixes for multiple regions would be foolish. So they have to release multiple versions in each region. It’s a bit odd.

Maybe so? But remember that when a brand focuses more on one region it never achieves much success. If you want to be global, you have to look at other regions. Look at Google, which limited Pixels to certain regions and didn’t leave that place. When it started looking at and selling to other markets, they started to be much more accepted… of course, Noting is not a Google, but if it wants to grow, it has to look at all the markets where it sells more seriously.

Ikr, they want to be better than apple. They compare themselves with apple. When an iOS update is released it’s released to all region and all devices together. No delays. How can they be better if they can’t do a simple software update in a timely manner.

Nothing_Technik I am. I’m trying to say if they wanna be better. The least they can do is bring software updates in a timely manner. 3a is not even 3 months from release and they are already releasing updates only for IND region. While NA and EU people still waiting for bug fixes. And the low end cmf pro 2 comes with os 3.2 while others still at 3.0 and 3.1.

They are not releasing it for India only, but staggered, like it says in the release-notes. nothing weird, something that a lot of companies do.

Banjer yeah that’s how OTA works. Staggered. But surprising not a single EU or na user didn’t get this update isn’t it?. Will see and wait for a week oif we receive the update. Let’s see

Well, if you really want it, search github, that’s where I got the update.

Btw, one of the (easiest) way to stagger is to do it by region/country, so not surprising people outside the first region don’t get the update yet.

My 🥇 First Experience with Nothing Phones.

Previously was sceptical of my purchase after going through the nothingCommunity threads but you Guys with your kind words Kept the excitement Alive and what can I say “man am I Impressed with my Purchase!”

I Love my New Phone!

I previously was found of BB Curve 9320 with dual colour English and Arabic backlight Keypad. After a long time I have found a phone more elegant and beautiful in aesthetic and form.

The Phone Is An I_Candy out of the 🎁 Box.

The Width, Weight , Thickness makes the Phone like no other and most Comfortable to type on.

HAPTICS, Yes Haptics Are Perfect! Someone coming from Budget Phones Can really appreciate and notice the difference. Personaly Can’t appreciate it enough in Words.

Screen is Again very Big and Very Responsive feeling. Left the refresh rate on dynamic settings and have forgotten about it since then.

Operating system is Dialed in only second to maybe Apple! The 3.0 has come a long way so it’s only getting better after this. Love it! But 🍏 is not open like android. So win some loose some.

Currently using 3.1 out of the Box. Will refrain from Updating for now. Final word Strong Personality and basic intuitive to the core.

EDIT: After Using for a week , I have updated to the latest one. No significant changes. Phone is Working better than expected, so for a newer company Praises To NOTHING are due! Good Job Team!

Excited about Glyphs and Dedicated new key, will learn to use it soon. Both functions currently abstaining from using. ( Yes the new button shape is similar to power button 🔘 but will get used to it) - a round button in the making? _Nothing?

Edit after a week using : The Essential key is well designed for a button. I wonder if it was squeeze actuation instead.

Battery is Good charging speed is more than quick . Sound is Good.

Daily Using with a transparent gelly case. No Brainer!

Edit after a week: I wish to use transparent skin now after a week of using. Wish to hold the original phone closer to my hand while protecting it in some way.

Yeah the Phone feels very nise to Hold without cover!
