I would have to agree that it is something different - but I have to admit - I like the LED glyphs better. If this is the only striking maneuver to be different on the device….I don’t know how I feel about this. The polish of Nothing OS and their signature glyphs are both what ripped me away from plain-jane Apple products.

I am going to keep rocking my 3(a) for now and maybe wait to see how this is this device looks and feels. I know, change is going to be different, and Nothing likes to continue to create aesthetically pleasing devices… I admit, in my head I imagined the entire back of the phone or at least a sizeable portion of it was going to be this new digital visual LOL.

Hey guys, nothing posted recently a video and in the caption they say “the glyph stays on”, so was it only a marketing action to say it’s dead to hype up there dot matrix screen? Maybe the phone 3 is more promising that I expected

adbo for me it was useful because I had only specific conversations in a specific app linked to the gliphs, so I knew who am I ignoring at that moment lol.

It actually made me use my phone less, which partially is a goal of Nothing still I think, I hope. Right?

The only reason the nothing phone is what it is, is because of the classic glyph lights. Thats the only reason I bought the phone,I wanted something that looked different. Why whyy whyyyy whyy why would you take away the main reason why the phone is being bought in the first place. You guys had the opportunity to style it differently and make the lights colour changeable. But instead you do this foolishness,I was so hyped for this phone until now. Smh

Will it be self-programmable?

Will there be some sort of sdk/ applet?

The matrix could make it possible to use the Phone 3 for Structured Illumination Microscopy, in combination with the DIPLE Microscope. The usual issue with screen based SIM is the fact that the lightsource is RGB leds, and a white led matrix could solve the problem.

In conclusion, nothing has an amazing community, with plenty of capable and inegnious minds, please make the phone 3 more opensource, it’s the right direction and follows the Nothing Philosphy.

Stating to the recent released design of Nothing 3 is not impressed with a design. NEVER EVER EXPECTED.

85.66% people falls in design of the device. I don’t why Nothing went to that design. I have seen many stunning designs suggested by community post. They would considered one of it.
