So back then we used to have 5G standalone mode for Jio sims in India for nothing phones. I think this was a pretty neat feature. I. Some areas where we used to have speed issues with JIo 5g enabling this used to give good speeds.
Though I understand it was removed as making it on manually all the time would have lead to call drop issues. Etc.
So how about having it back as a hidden option so that it cannot be used by general public all the time. Or if someone wants to use it they can set a timer after which it would reset back. This way it would ensure we don’t have issues with network quality.
Or we can also have it under Experimental features with a timer.
Currently for airtel & VI we have it. So can we please get the Jio 5g standalone back
