I’m new to the Nothing phones, I have the CMF 2 pro, I’ve been using it for 2 days now. (Been using Android phones fir a long time.)
I didn’t see much value with the essential button, but now that I’ve read how it works, I’ll see if I use it, and if I get used to it.
It would be nice to have an option to change it’s operations. I have not found any option to do that, yet.
Also, in my car phone holder it squeezes the phone on the sides, and when I used that yesterday it powered my phone off. I’ll have to adjust that so it fit better. But, on previous phones if you pressed the power button you had to confirm shutting down the phone, they’re was no confirmation that I noticed. I’ll look at that more when I’m my car next.
