Hey everyone,
I’ve been meaning to share this for a while because honestly, I still can’t believe it happened.
About a month ago, I was out on my balcony (12th floor) just enjoying a quiet moment. I leaned over slightly, and suddenly… I felt it. That sickening feeling when something slips from your pocket.
I looked down just in time to see my Nothing Phone flying straight toward the pavement. All I heard was a faint click when it hit the ground. My heart sank. I was 100% sure it was done for. I stood there frozen, convinced I’d just lost it completely. I’ve broken phones before. My iPhone screen once shattered from barely a waist-high drop. So you can imagine what I expected from a 12-story free fall.
But then I went downstairs and found the phone was still on. Sure, the frame’s a bit bent and one side is cracked. But the screen? Perfect. The camera? Still sharp. Fingerprint sensor? Works like nothing ever happened. Battery life, performance—everything is still running exactly as before.
It’s been a whole month. I’ve been using it every day. This thing didn’t just survive—it refused to quit.
To the folks at Nothing: I just want to say thank you. You built a tank disguised as a phone. I’ve genuinely never experienced anything like this.
