Hey everyone! The Phone (3) launch event “Come to Play” happened in London this week and I thought I’d make a write-up of what went down; for those that attended to share their stories and for those that didn’t, to gain an insight!
I made the trip down to London for the event on the morning of 1st July. Around 10 community members met up at a pub near Kings Cross to have a drink together before heading to Greenwich.
We came around the corner and saw the Nothing decal spread right across the windows of the venue, Magazine London.

After checking in, we were greeted by an interactive dot matrix screen on the way into the first main area. When we arrived, Nothing staff, Tom & Ryan, were getting us warmed up with some DJing and we had access to the bar for some drinks while we networked with more community members and staff. The count down to the event was displayed on the big screen at the front.

Carl then came on stage in the final minutes to give us a short talk about the journey the company has been on to make Phone (3) a reality. We watched the keynote, then some huge doors opened into the second room, which was even bigger than the first!

In this room we found interactive exhibits and demos of Phone (3) and Headphone (1) available to use freely; as well as some tasty food, drinks and canapes.

There was also a boules game in the middle with the chance to win prizes! I didn’t have a go at this, so I’m interested to hear about it from anyone that did.
After some food and hands on product experiences, we headed back into the first room for music from guest DJs, LEXII. and Tiffany Calver, followed by a performance from the surprise headliner, AJ Tracey. Interplanetary Criminal then sent us off with some dance tunes to end the night

Overall, I had an amazing time! If you attended, let us know what you thought and drop some of your favourite photos 😄
Hope to see you all at the next one 🤞
