Firmware (bot) I didn’t have to do anything to receive the update. However, I have a NP1 US Beta device.
I didn’t expect to receive this kind of update, since it’s been announced that NP1 devices will only receive security patches for a year.
In any case, things have been running smoothly, if not faster than before. I have no issues with the battery as I did before.
The only thing I don’t like is the inability to archive/disable the stock camera app. GrapheneOS’ camera is still infinitely better that the stock app. There shouldn’t be weird haloes around objects and people when taking pics.
I don’t use Nothing’s Gallery because I prefer other vendors.
I still plan to migrate to a different OS when my device will no longer receive software/security updates.
