Hi all,
I wanted to share a strange issue I’ve been facing with the Google Sheets app on my Nothing phone. Whenever I open a sheet or Excel file that contains a large amount of data, the app starts acting buggy and automatically edits or moves cells — as if phantom touches are happening.
To confirm it’s not a touchscreen issue, I turned on the “Show touches” option and recorded my screen. The video clearly shows that even when I’m not interacting with the screen, random touches and edits are being triggered inside the app.
A few key points:
This only happens with large data sheets.
Opening a new or blank sheet works perfectly.
My phone’s touchscreen works fine in every other app.
The problem seems isolated to Google Sheets and only with larger files.
I’ve attached the screen recording to help visualize the issue.
