Nice update, can·t wait to check out the camera improvs.

I wanted to report that browsers still run at 60-90fps, despite forcing 120 in the settings.

Are you aware of such issue? Maybe a fix is possible to be released with the next update.

Not available to the UK to me yet.

Also, this is the second update, third total ROM available to me in the UK!

Way to go NOTHING, keep those updates coming at once per month!

Cameras already solid pre-update as shown in my other thread, can’t wait to test this

Nice one, I still see my app draw / smart list as full colour icons instead of respecting my black and white theme selections.

Is that a known issue being worked on? It’s very jarring right now and I guess you are generating icons for text message and contacts that are unexpected so they also throw me off too..

I like the universal search for all draw but it is a shock on the senses..

ChrisCombe you can set app drawer and home screen icon pack separately…you must selected ‘set for home screen only’ … if not…then this is a bug.. you can send feedback…👍🏻🫡

Half of the replies are talking about NOTHING not maintaining their older flagships/other phones, and yes. My CMF Phone 2 Pro hasn’t received this update yet. And yes, I restarted my phone, checked for updates, still not there.

NotDtech version 3.5 now avaible only on phone 3, all other devices will get it later this year without anounce dates yet.

Ah, the classic around these parts, a new update arrives as well as a complaint train for all other NOTHING phones. FYI, my CMF1 has NOS3.2 and runs stellar still. (the cheap-ass screen protector is garbage, otherwise it’s great). I still have 26 monthly payments left on it though sadly. Off to the children it goes, while I enjoy the NP3.

This update hasn’t rolled out to Europe, or at least the UK yet, there’s usually about a week of lag time.

I’m still not seeing this update (or the last one for the Nothing 3a) in the UK. Is that normal? Is there a way to trigger this outside of just going to Settings > System > System updates?

AndyN they usually release in India first and then about a week later it comes to the UK.

I’ve been having 2 issues with my Phone (3) lately.

1. I wanted to use the generative ringtones, but it doesn’t apply when I change it in the settings. I first thought that i have to set it manually for each contant, but there’s no option in my contacts to change the ringtone to generative. I’m not sure if I missed something or it’s just a bug.

2. Volume scaling. Everyday at work, I listen to music with my Nothing Ears with one earpiece. Let’s say the volume is at 0. When i increase the volume, it scales fine until volume level 3. However, when I want to increase the volume from level 3 to 4, I can hear 2 jumps happening, like I just jumped from level 3 to 4 to 5. And this really annoys me, because that “mid jump” between those two levels is the perfect sweetspot for me, but the Phone simply won’t let me set the volume to it because that volume level doesn’t exist. It has been really bothering me, since volume level 3 is too low and level 4 is too high. This sound like a really specific issue, but this would have been different if the “double jump” between the level 3 and 4 simply wouldn’t exist, like if it was just smooth. But the “double jump” is there and I can hear it, but the Phone just won’t let me set the volume to it. I wonder if someone else has this issue and if it bothers them too.

Here’s another one where neither the ringtone tones nor the generative notifications work… no matter how many times I select them, they either don’t save or simply don’t work.

On top of that, Essential Notifications are completely broken. The filters I apply (and they’re correct) don’t work. I don’t get anything on the Glyph Matrix screen, but then, when I turn the phone around, I see essential notifications (marked as such by the phone) that weren’t triggered by any rule. And I’m not creating overlapping rules — these are super basic things like having a specific WhatsApp contact trigger a custom icon when they message me.

It’s a mess that two basic features of the Glyph Matrix aren’t working properly. Honestly, pretty disappointed. I assume we’ll have to wait for a future update, which will likely take several weeks…

tmb10101 I don’t have the JUL update yet. I’m running the JUNE update and when I originally received the phone (11 JUL) it was on the MAY update.

Wouldn’t be surprising if they’ve paused the update due to the numerous bugs we’re experiencing with the Glyph Matrix — it would make total sense.
