Iâve been using the Nothing Phone 2 for a while now, and I was honestly really happy with it at first. But lately, the experience hasnât been great. After the 3.2 update, a lot of us started noticing issues â heating up even when idle, faster battery drain, random lag, and even the typing feeling a bit sluggish. The update didnât really fix the stuff that mattered, and in some cases, it made things worse. Kinda feels like the Phone 2 isnât getting the attention it used to.
And now with the Phone 3 out, the communityâs pretty divided. The new dot-matrix Glyph design looks cool, sure, but it doesnât really bring anything practical. A lot of the useful features from Phone 2, like delivery alerts and calendar reminders through the glyphs, are gone. Plus, the price is way higher now â around âč80k/$799 â but the specs like the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 arenât quite flagship-level. Add in no HDR support on Netflix, and it just feels a bit underwhelming overall.
Not trying to hate, but it does make you wonder if Nothing is starting to lose what made it stand out. Still hoping they turn it around, though.đ„
