I actually really like it and it’s cool you’ve taken time to design this. It’s got an awesome combination of the new phone 3 glyph and the lights which I love on my phone 2. I’m hesitant to upgrade due to missing them.

Love the Glyph in the centre like it’s the camera lens too rather than being to the side. Very cool idea and it’s playful too.

I think we should appreciate the new phone 3 design and support the Nothing teams efforts. You can’t please everyone and that’s never been their aim anyway. I’ve not quite got the budget to upgrade yet and have to say the nothing phone 2 has lasted well with battery still being amazing!

I think this doesn’t make sense since the screen in the middle makes it look like it’s supposed to be a face instead of display.

While it can be that, I think nothing is trying to avoid that since it draws more personal attention (but still the same amount of initial bystander attention) to the phone (though it may look cool).

I’d say placing it somewhere passive and not as central of a focus to the phone, not the camera group, would make it a little less like a companion and more of a tool to use. Ultilitarian ish

This is my opinion of the 2a 3a 3apro designs. In the 2a you can see that the eyes are placed fairly close to each other which if they were moved just a little bit further apart would look a lot more like a face. With the 3a it’s a visor and 3apro is just circular ish semmetry.

Nah, I like the asymmetrical camera bumps, so much better than my One Plus 12. I hope they keep pushing with this design language.

The design is already done though, they had (3) complete almost 3 years ago already. Same as with (4a), already basically finished.
