I am interested in purchasing the Phone 3. Initially, I hated the design, but it has grown on me & is a very unique-looking phone.
I feel it has all the features I need & also the UI is a big plus. However, I have not been satisfied with the display quality of AMOLED/OLED panels after looking at the gray uniformity levels of various phones (the worst being the Motorola Edge 50 Neo).
I would like to know how the Phone 3 fares in this aspect. If someone already has one, can you tell me how the display is?
To do this:
- Make sure you’re in a dark setting
- Open Chrome & the open an incognito tab
- Lower the brightness to say 15% or lower
- Capture a photo of the screen (it may sometimes be seen even through the naked eye)
- Review the gray uniformity
Major inconsistency in gray uniformity is not normal & is usually considered defective.
