I have the “diode” generator set for calls, but when someone calls me, I get the classic ringtone “crossing” instead.

I always get that type of lights, even though I don’t have it selected. I have the generative mode selected:

Same with notifications. I have the generator selected, but I get the classic “oi” sound. What’s going on? Can someone tell me if this is happening to them too or if I’m doing something wrong?

I have the same problem with my ringtone. Still if someone call to me is “classic” but in settings I set “generate”.

I have the same problem. I’ve tried setting up a specific icon for when my wife calls me, but I always get the strollers.

Please report the bug to Nothing so they can fix it for us 🥲. I have already reported the error.

I get almost no notifications in the glyph matrix. Its very strange. I guess there is a bug in the glyph notification area. I thought when a notification come with mobile on the screen glyph matrix gets something. But there is none. Maybe we need a manual how to setup this complex glyph matrix to notificate me.

Sane problem here. No generative ringtone works, neither phone or notifications

I was also seeing this behaviour but it was because I’d set a custom ringtone for the number I was using to test. Once I cleared that from the Sound and Vibration -> Phone ringtone -> Classic section it worked properly with the generative tone.

It looks like the settings are conflicting a little because of the additional places to make changes that have been added.

Glyph Matrix rules do not overlap correctly:

set rule A -> show icon A on any missed call from any contact

set rule B -> show icon B on a missed call from contact K

I expect icon B for missed calls from contact K and icon A for missed calls from any other contact

I always get icon A on a missed call, unless I disable rule A

This is a known issue, and our team has already addressed it in an upcoming software update, which is scheduled for release next week. Once the update is available, we recommend installing it to resolve the problem.

Generative notifications and ringtones are also broken for me. I’ve made a feedback through the feedback functionality in Setting > System > Feedback > Feedback

Maybe also send your log/recording of the problem ever the forum so the devs have more data.

What I also noticed is that if you open the internal storage in a file manager you will see 2 folders NTGenerateNotifiaction and NTGenerateRintones that has loads of csv files where each cell is either 0 or 4095. I assume these files correspond to animation sequences for each contact. If that is the case then I don’t understand why CSV, as we work with numbers here and using binary format would suffice. The shading isn’t too deep, so an 8 bit unsigned integer is enough to represent a single dot.

For me the same problem remains. Generator mode doesn’t do anything at all. Instead, the default ringtone takes over. I have notified the nothing team 2 roles already. Last reply they said I should update my software to version 3.5 which I already did the day it was uploaded. Anyways, if any one knows what could be beneficial for the issue, let us know

I get identical ringtone/notification for different contacts from default phone and messages app. What’s different though is different apps have different notification animation/sound.
