CMF1_hacker I tried researchin it a little, but what I found is that it looks like decoding bearly should make any difference, FLAC is easier on the CPU to decode compared to MP3 (even thoug MP3 decoding is done in HW by a specific component in the CPU) even accounting for the amount of data present in the file, but what I want to try is to understand if the COMPRESSION and then the trasmission of the data via BT is different, just by shear thought process it could be easier on the device to start with a small file and send it trough a “small” channel (being a BT transition in SBC) compared to start from a big file, compress it and the send it through that same small channel;
As I said, I need to run some tests, if I find out something I’ll let everyone know
