I am the proud owner of Nothing Phone (1).
Unfortunately, my display got damaged and needed a full replacement. My experience with the Authorized Service Center itself was unsatisfactory.
After a week of handing over the device for the repair, there were issues all the time.
First of all, the device details using the IEMI number is not existent in the Nothing Database.
There was not response from the Authorized Service Center unless I called them first and asked for an update.
Today (23 July 2025) after I called them asking for an update, they informed me that the details of the phone model with IEMI Number still doesn’t come up in the database.
They informed me that they have ordered the replacement display using the phone model number and it costs Rs 13,000. The price is ridiculously expensive!
For a device that was released in July of 2022, which at the time costs Rs 33,000. 40% of the Phone’s Price is the value of the Display alone. Coming to 2025, after 3 years of price depreciation, the price of replacement display continues to be unchanged at Rs 13,000.
I request Nothing Team to give an explanation and justify the amount priced for the replacement Display and urge the team to reduce the price of the replacement parts considering the current value of the device.
