Bro… what are you smoking? 👀
I get that people like to let their imagination run wild (which is cool), but this one feels like it escaped the simulation. Let’s break it down for a second:
A. Why a Glyph matrix on a power bank?
Not even just a Glyph light — a whole dot-matrix display? For what — battery level? Glyph light is more than enough for that. Adding a matrix just for aesthetics is serious overkill and would likely kill the minimal vibe Nothing is going for.
B. Placement logic doesn’t check out.
On the Nothing Phone (3), the Glyph matrix is already on the top right. Wireless power banks attach centered on the back (where the coil is). So even with a power bank slapped on, you can still see the phone’s Glyph matrix. What’s the point of duplicating it on the power bank?
C. Glyph notifications… on a power bank??
How exactly would that work — Bluetooth syncing? Now we’re talking about adding extra circuitry, microcontrollers, firmware, pairing logic, testing, and software integration. All of this for a battery pack. Sounds bulky, expensive, and ultimately impractical for something people expect to be slim and affordable.
So yeah, points for imagination — but even Nothing would probably look at this and go: “what are you on, and can we have some?” 😂
Jokes aside, love seeing creative ideas in the community — but let’s try to mix a little feasibility with the fantasy. Then we’re really cooking.
