They actually just very recently added a bunch of features to the app, including an editing option you mentioned in a different topic you opened.

They are still working on their gallery app and mentioned they will keep adding new feature and more improvements. You are neither the only one nor the first who critized both missing doodle and set as wallpaper options - only option is to be patient or use a different app until Nothing provided further updates.

Editing function also don’t have ai features like unblur, background erase etc.even 10k phones got these features.

AmjithViswambharan Those are coming soon, they are being actively developed to get added to the app, along with plenty of new good features. Submit feedback though, with ideas etc.

Meanwhile, about your “10K phones” comment, what would you say about Google and their inability to make those same features available to work in Google Photos, lol? Just check the latest Google Photos update and you’ll know what I mean (nothing works at all). Example:
