Dear Mr. Carl Pei,
It’s the people who placed you at the top where you are today. You don’t have to be thankful to them—but the least you can do is be honest.
Any tech-savvy person can see that the Phone 3 release is a strategic stunt to enter the flagship market, not a genuine flagship offering. So why go to such lengths to present it as something it’s not? As a loyal user, it’s disheartening to feel like we’re being treated as if we don’t matter.
Let’s be clear—the Indian market isn’t shaped equally by all regions. It’s South Indians, especially us Tamilians, who drive it with passion and loyalty. We welcome strangers with warmth, but we don’t tolerate betrayal. You should have studied our history more closely. We forgive, but not endlessly. We don’t blindly trust—we observe, we understand, and we respond.
You’ve made a mistake. Own it. Rectify it. But don’t pretend.
Tamilians know the difference between strategy and sincerity.
