I asked costumer support about it last year before using Glyphify (incredible app!) and this is what the told me 🙂
“…While the Glyph lights are designed for various notifications, keeping them on for prolonged periods isn’t recommended, as it may lead to potential overheating or wear over time. It’s best to use them as intended for notifications”
