Ist es möglich, Google -Fotos als Standardgalerie -App wiederherzustellen? Fehlt mir nur die Einstellung irgendwo oder müssen wir jetzt Nothing Galerie verwenden?

Is it possible to restore Google Photos as the default gallery app?

Am I just missing the setting somewhere or are we forced to use Nothing Gallery now?

What kind of phone do you have? And does Nothing Gallery work as your default gallery?

Asy1bek47 Phone (3) and Nothing Gallery is the default app..

Clicking on the image in the camera app opens Nothing Gallery and there’s no way to restore Google Photos as the default without removing it.

Anonymous994 I do not know that there is another option other than deleting applications. Because I think it’s already set up in the system. I have a phone 2(a) and I wanted Nothing Gallery to be the default gallery 🥲.

I’d also like to know if it’s possible to set Google Photos as the default app photos. But at the same time, it’s only used when you press the photo that was just taken icon from the camera app, so it’s not so bad. I can still use Google Photos as my main photos app. To be honest, I wonder why Nothing would even spend time creating their own Gallery app when Google Photos is so good.

Dan_ie I don’t mind the Nothing Gallery app, I have it on my home screen for viewing photos. But I wish that the camera app had the option to link to Google Photos so I can review / edit immediately after taking the photo.

It’s only a minor annoyance but something I find myself doing nearly every time as this is the first time I’ve had a camera app in over decade that doesn’t link directly to Google Photos.

Anonymous994 Yeah same for me. The Gallery app is nice, but lacks two key things I personally use a lot, automatic sync of my photos to my Google One account and the search function by words or faces. But yeah, it’s minor, I’m not too bothered.

A lot of ai features are missing in nothing gallery app,so installed both.

I just realised that if you press and hold the Nothing Gallery app and select “disable” this removes Nothing Gallery from the app drawer and the restores Google Photos as the default gallery inside the camera app.
