As we stepped into the world of over-ear headphones we wanted to treat it with respect and bring an extra layer of credibility, and that’s why we partnered with KEF, renowned experts with over 60 years experience in high-fidelity audio. They helped us deliver a neutral and balanced sound profile for Headphone (1).
We also believe in empowering our community as a key value at Nothing, and we want to give them the ability to create their own listening experience. With the Nothing X app, our advanced 8-band EQ system enables deep customisation, letting you precisely adjust frequency ranges and control the Q Factor parameters. This means you can tailor your headphones exactly how you want, whether enhancing bass for immersive beats, boosting detailed highs for crystal vocals, or creating custom profiles for specific music genres, gaming, or movie watching.
Additionally, we’ve noticed several creators and audiophiles sharing their own tuning profiles. We’ve included a few below, crediting DMS/Linus, SoundGuys, and RecordingNOW for their contributions.
You’ll need to go into the Nothing X app, click on ‘Equaliser’, then look for the 3 dots in the top right corner, click on import and scan the QR code for the profile to be pulled through.
