The feature you’re referring to where Google Gemini intercepts Spam calls and waits on hold for you are Pixel exclusive features at the moment.
That said, there are two outstanding automation apps for Android that will handle spam calls as a well. One is called Macrodroid and the other is called Tasker. They are both built to allow you to automate tasks on your phone (I use them to set my ringer volume automatically based on what time it is so I don’t have my ringer go off during work) and I know for a fact you can use Tasker to send calls not from your contacts straight to voicemail and much much more.
