What smartphone should I buy for under ₹25,000?

I am looking for a smartphone under ₹25,000.

From my research, I found that the “OnePlus Nord CE 5” and “Nothing Phone (3a)” are among the best options available.

But the OnePlus Nord CE 5 specifications are higher compared to the Nothing Phone (3a).

I need to choose one smartphone, so which one would be better?

Here are my use cases:

- Day-to-day work

- Social media and browsing

- Casual photography and gaming

gagan010602 Hey mate, I’ve been using the Nothing Phone (3a) series since launch (both 3a & Pro), and really enjoyed the experience. They handle everything you’ve listed here and have never caused me an issue while also providing me great battery life.

I’d describe myself as a ‘power user’ and historically have used flagships but, the Phone (3a) series has made me question the need for the flagship now. I’ve been really surprised how the specs + optimisation has handled my workflows without issue.

The key is optimisation, the specs might appear ‘weaker’ on paper but the reality is Nothing have doing a great job of refining the software to fit the hardware and Nothing OS is always fun!

I think you’ll love the Phone (3a) series. If you want to spend even less money, you might be pleasantly surprised by the CMF Phone 2 Pro which is my daily driver at the moment and I think it’s incredible value for money!

gagan010602 both are good… but there are many complaints about battery lofe of 3a series… so please reasearch accordingly and then make a decision… best is to watch yt videos of small creators…whom brands don’t send review units… (almost every review units are cherry picked)

Nord will come with a charger and a case on top of it which for some could be deciding factor. processor is better in terms of numbers on nord as well.

Phone 3a isnt a spec beast either but a more balanced sort of offering from Nothing. I would suggest to wait for sale and get Phone 3a pro which will have periscope lens as well so you dont have to worry about camera.

Also, its always better to get hands-on experience before buying, do that and you will be more clear on which one you want to get. P3a series handles gaming easily, I have used p3a and thermals were good to plus battery is great as well.

Soumyajit_26 you’re halfway to discounted NP3 (prices in UK/Europe have already shed quite a bit. The lower spec NP3 is already down to £520/620€ from £799 starting.) I can imagine the Indian market reducing to 50k or so soon as well.

CMF1_hacker Yes mostly that would happen during sale period like during festivals we get discounts. he biggest sale will be in october during which P3 might cost around 45-50k, maybe little lower. have to wait and see.

I think 3a will be best for you . This is one of the all rounder phone. Not a phone it’s a giant.

Hey bro, I’m using the Nothing Phone 3a Pro. I bought it almost 2 months ago and it’s pretty good. The camera is amazing that periscope lens clicks incredible shots and really feels like a flagship camera. The UI is great and I love the UX. I’ve customized it according to my style.

The Uber and Zomato integrations are also really cool it feels like you’re using a completely different phone.

The only thing I don’t like is the camera shutter lag. It takes a bit of processing time, and if you click photos too quickly, it sometimes hangs. This seems to be an issue with the 3a Pro; I’m not sure about the 3a. I think the dev team can fix it in a future update.

Overall, everything else is amazing you can just close your eyes, buy it, and feel the difference. Just keep in mind, you won’t get a charger or a case in the box.

Nord ce 5 no doubt
