When Nothing sent me the Phone (3) as a review unit, I was super excited. But honestly? When I first saw the design in videos, I wasn’t feeling it. It looked kinda… meh.
Then I held it in my hand and everything changed.
First Impressions & Design 👀

It felt premium in the hand. 🤑
Different. 🦞
A total attention magnet. 🧲
That red LED recording light? Chef’s kiss. 🤌
As MKBHD said:
“A lobster in a world of crabs.”
And he wasn’t lying.
Speaker Game 🔊

Unlike most phones, the Nothing Phone (3) has a dedicated top speaker not just a reused earpiece.
The sound feels fuller and more immersive making it way better for watching videos without headphones.
Camera Experience 📸

I was OBSESSED with the periscope lens.
The zoom game here is next-level.
✅ Macro shots = 🔥
✅ Main sensor = Solid
❌ Ultra-wide = Weak
✅ Selfie = Good
✅ Portrait = Good but sometimes struggles with edge detection
18x video zoom is actually pretty solid.
60x photo zoom? Wild.

Also, why can’t I use the Glyph torch inside the camera app? So annoying.
Glyph Matrix ✨

Surprisingly useful. Especially if you place your phone face down often.
But yeah, no tutorials = confusing af at first.
Essential Key 📝

This is honestly one of the most underrated features on the phone.
I use it to quickly jot down notes or save things I wanna remember or check out later. No fumbling through apps, just instant access.

Gonna miss this so much when I go back to the 2a because nothing else has this level of convenience for quick brain dumps.
Performance & UI ⚡

Gave me those old OnePlus vibes.
Snappy. Clean. Minimal bloat.
Had a few bugs early on, but Nothing pushed a few updates and fixed most of them.
Gaming 🕹️

Played Genshin Impact on it for a few days.
Smooth at 30fps on Highest settings. 😮💨
60fps runs hot even in AC. 🥵
Not a gaming beast, but can handle pressure.
Size & Comfort 📏
This thing’s big. And heavy.
Little finger pain is real.
Also feels weird in pockets, especially slim jeans.
Would’ve loved it more if it was compact.
Pricing & Verdict 💸
Would I buy it? Yes… if it was cheaper.
It’s not the best at anything. Not worth ₹80K.
But it’s also not boring.
And in a world full of safe, same-same phones… That matters.

The Nothing Phone (3) isn’t perfect. But it’s different.
And sometimes, different is enough to make you fall in love with tech again. 🖤
Grateful to Nothing and @Deepanshu_Saini_ for this amazing opportunity!
Back to my 2a now. 💔
