Charging issue in phone 3a pro

Ich habe ein seltsames Ladeproblem mit meinem Nothing Telefon 3a Pro. Wenn ich es zum Laden anschließe, startet das Telefon immer wieder den Ladezyklus, anstatt kontinuierlich aufzuladen. Dies geschieht auch mit dem ursprünglichen Ladegerät und dem ursprünglichen Kabel (ich verwende CMF 65W Gan Ladegerät) Ich habe ein paar Dinge ausprobiert, wie das Überprüfen des Adapters, die Verwendung eines anderen Sockels und die Reinigung des Ports, aber das Problem bleibt weiterhin bestehen. Manchmal berechnet es normal, aber manchmal trennt es immer wieder, was ziemlich frustrierend ist und das Laden sehr langsam macht. Dies wird für mich zu einem großen Anliegen, daher fordere ich die anderen Benutzer auf, ihre Erfahrungen zu teilen, und ich hoffe auch, dass die Administratoren/Moderatoren eine offizielle Lösung vorschlagen oder klarstellen können, ob ein Fix auf dem Weg ist. Ich freue mich auf Ihre Antworten.

I’m facing a strange charging issue with my Nothing Phone 3a Pro. Whenever I plug it in for charging, the phone keeps starting and stopping the charging cycle repeatedly instead of charging continuously. This happens even with the original charger and cable.(I am using cmf 65w gan charger)

I’ve tried a few things like checking the adapter, using a different socket, and cleaning the port, but the issue still persists. Sometimes it charges normally, but other times it keeps disconnecting and reconnecting, which is quite frustrating and makes charging very slow.

This is becoming a big concern for me, so I kindly request fellow users to share their experiences, and I also hope the admins/moderators can suggest an official solution or clarify whether a fix is on the way.

DakshBanait did u check the port , if the charging part is dusty , this could cause an issue .

DakshBanait same problem. I have a nothing phone 2a plus and it does it after it’s powered on. If I try to restart the phone it doesn’t do it the first times, but then it starts again. Also it happens that it says that it’s charging but it’s actually not. Not a big deal, but when my phone was dying and I had to put battery saving mode on I couldn’t do it because it appeared it was still charging

I own the phone 3a pro as well but I never faced issues in charging my phone..

I use the apple 20W adapter and the original nothing branded charging cable….

I previously owned a 2a now a 3a Pro and previously experience stop start charging issue on my 2a and found that it was simply the cable quality, I use a Speedy 45w double charger plug and my old Google Pixel 4 XL cable, although occasionally other high quality/high speed compatible cables micro c to micro c type and they both charge really fast without issues. Hope that helps

Have you tried different charger ? I’m using my old Samsung 23W charger and there is no problem and also check your setting for battery there is an option to stop charging at 70% it is enabled for battery life

Yes, I have the option enabled but till 80% charging. I tried 45w charger of my old vivo phone, but the same problem was happening after sometime of charging. But from 2-3 days i am not seeing that issue. If something like that happens again i will definitely update.

But can someone explain what must be the reason, or should I still visit service centre.

Hello! you tried with another charger + another cable? usually one if this combo is the culprit

I’m facing the same problem on my phone 3a , when I use a fast PD charger (25w or above) the phone heats up and then the issue starts. I’ve tried 33w CMF Original, 25W Samsung Original and 45W Nu Republic PD and I’ve faced the issue in all of these chargers. I’ve also tried different cables Samsung S23 Ultra inbox Cable, CMF Original Cable, Apple Original cable but the problem is the same (while using 25w pd or above). On the other hand when I use Apple 20W PD with Original Apple C to C Cable or any other QC charger I don’t face this issue. I tried Vivo 90W (Non PD charger) and It hits peak charging speeds of upto 25w but I don’t face problems in that. So QC charging and sub 25W PD charging is safer to go with if you have this issue, because this charging start stop issue heats up the phone like crazy, and it’ll kill your battery.

RohitKumarRout_EH8f37mNlH I was using the old cable that came with my Nothing Phone 1, and it was damaged( internally I think). After changing it to another cable, it started charging fine.
