DanielHelmstedt I had the same experience… The software update not only removed bass, it DRASTICALLY lowered maximum volume, and the sound quality was laughable. I sold them.
A few days ago I got my CMF Headphone Pro. And honestly? ANC and Transparency mode aside, they sound better. Bass is MUCH better than the Nothing Headphone, overall sound is comparable (just.. HOW???). Pre-update Nothings had the best sound I ever heard on headphones, easily destroying the CMFS, but post-update - the CMFs don’t sound much worse. In fact, when I “fixed” the sound by using an EQ on the Headphone (1), the volume was so low, I’d say the CMF actaully would be a better option, especially with the Personal Sound Profile.
I was so hyped for these… instead, the CMF product turned out to be better. It’s sad they still haven’t fixed anything. My biggest disappointment with Nothing so far.
