Stereobasic to be fair, this was already a feature in developer settings in many stock Android devices through the developer options, and I never heard a single person complain. The only reason a lot of phones don’t have it is that they don’t use completely stock Android and have their own icon format. Making it a built-in feature in these custom OSs that some phones use would just be giving us a feature already present in stock Android. Having that choice would be as simple as one extra tab in the customization settings, which I don’t think anyone will be pressed about. I just don’t see why we can’t/shouldn’t have more options.
