Photo Lag on Nothing Community Site — Can We Smooth It Out?

Hey Nothing Team 👋, Ich wollte nur ein Feedback teilen - * beim Betrachten von Fotos im Community -Web fühlt es sich ziemlich verzögert und abgehackt an. * Das Scrollen durch Bilder ist nicht reibungslos und nimmt die Erfahrung ein wenig ab. Würde gerne sehen, wie dieses Surfen butterartig 🙌 fixiert ist 🙌 Ich habe meine beiden Browser ausgecheckt ** Chrom und mutig **, aber das Problem ist bei beiden Browsern. Derzeit verwendete ** __ Nothing Telefon 2a (plus) **. Danke, dass du immer zugehört hast! Hey Nothing Team 👋,

Just wanted to share some feedback — when viewing photos in the Community web, it feels pretty laggy and choppy. Scrolling through pics isn’t smooth, and it takes away from the experience a bit. Would love to see this fixed so browsing feels buttery smooth 🙌

I checked out my both browsers Chrome and Brave but the problem is on both browsers. Currently using Nothing Phone 2a (plus).

DJ I just tried tried to reproduce, but was unable to on my 3a Pro.

It would definitely help if the OP reduces his image uploads, because all his images are 8494×4776.
As far as I’m aware, images are not being compressed when uploaded.

I find that when I’m in Oxford and have 8Gib/s fibre it’s smooth. Here in rural Germany less so where it feels like 24.4Kb/s.

CMF1_hacker 😅I don’t think it’s problem with my internet 🛜. I have a good connection. It happened previously even I was on other’s Wi-Fi.

I think it happens when it tries to load every image on the thread at once ?

Mr Steel It’s likely with most of the photos on nothing community.

DJ yeah, I have noticed this before and thought it might have been a stylistic choice that I disagreed with.

I have a Nothing Phone 3a Pro, but the camera lag feels really bad, especially when using it in front of others. I’ve already submitted feedback, but I don’t know when they’ll fix it. Hopefully, the Nothing team will address this soon
