Does CMF phone 1 show format as internal storage for micro SD cards?

I am planning to insert micro SD card to increase storage on cmf phone 1 and was wondering if it will show format as Internal as I don’t want to have to use adb commands in case I messed up and I’ve never tried adb commands before.
