** Hallo Team Nothing __, ** Ich schreibe dies als Hard Nothing Fan und ich bin sicher, dass viele Leute sich auf mich beziehen werden. Als ich 2022 mit dem College anfing, brauchte ich ein neues Telefon. Mein erster Gedanke war, ein iPhone zu bekommen, aber da fast alle um mich herum bereits eines hatten, wollte ich etwas anderes. Dann kaufte ich das neu gestartete Nothing Telefon (1). Es war so ein Head -Turner, und obwohl es zu Beginn viele Probleme hatte, mochte ich es wirklich, wie konstante Updates es immer wieder verbesserten. Später kaufte ich sogar das Ohr (2), um in das Ökosystem aufzubauen, und ich habe sogar einige meiner Freunde dazu beeinflusst, ein Nothing -Telefon zu kaufen, weil es im Vergleich zu den üblichen Optionen einzigartig und erfrischend war. Im Laufe der Jahre freute ich mich immer auf neue Starts. Jetzt in meinem letzten Jahr hatte ich vor, auf das bevorstehende Telefon zu upgraden (3), aber ehrlich gesagt fühlte ich mich wirklich enttäuscht. Und es bin nicht nur ich, fast jeder Nothing Fan in meinem College fühlt sich genauso an. Es geht nicht nur um das Design oder den hohen Preis, es fühlt sich an, als würde Nothing seine Identität verlieren. 1. Flaggschiff -Killer -Identität. Telefon (3) Das erste echte Flaggschiff ist ein schöner Versuch, aber es fühlt sich auch so an, als würde das Unternehmen den Kontakt damit verlieren, wie es tatsächlich begonnen hat. Nothing baute seinen Ruf als Flaggschiff -Killer auf und bietet fast die gleiche Erfahrung wie ein Premium -Flaggschiff, jedoch zu einem Bruchteil des Preises. Telefon (2) war das beste Beispiel dafür mit Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, raffiniertem Design und einem wirklich wettbewerbsfähigen Preis. Genau deshalb haben so viele von uns in erster Linie Nothing geliebt. Dies ist der gleiche Weg, den OnePlus unterging, als Flaggschiff -Killer begann und sich dann langsam in Flaggschiff -Gebiet bewegte und schließlich den Wert verliert, für den sie einst bekannt waren. Ich hoffe wirklich, dass Nothing diese Geschichte nicht wiederholt. 2. Machen Sie Tech wieder Spaß. Der Slogan war wirklich mit mir verbunden. Die Glyphenschnittstelle war eine der lustigsten und einzigartigsten Funktionen. Dinge wie die Musikvisualisierung, die Glyphenbrenner, das Laden von Animationen und der Timer am Telefon (2) gaben dem Telefon seine Identität. Es gab so viel Potenzial, darauf aufzubauen und es vielleicht sogar in die Glyphenmatrix zu integrieren. Aber als Nothing von der Glyph -Schnittstelle zur Matrix wechselte, waren wir alle wirklich enttäuscht. Es wäre besser gewesen, wenn Matrix als Ergänzung eingeführt worden wäre, während die Glyphenfunktionen beibehalten und verbessert worden wäre, die die Telefone hervorheben. Viele meiner Freunde, die die "A" -Serie gekauft haben, wünschten sich sogar, sie hätten das größere Glyphe -Setup von Telefon (1) und Telefon (2), und wenn das Unternehmen wirklich auf Glyph -Matrix wechselt, geben Sie den „A“ -Modellen zumindest die vollständige Glyph -Schnittstelle. 3.. Verfeinerung der Expansion. Meine einzige andere Beschwerde ist die Kamera, die sich immer noch inkonsistent anfühlt. Ich hoffe, der Fokus liegt mehr auf der Verbesserung bestehender Produkte und Funktionen, bevor sie zu neuen übergehen. Das war etwas, das ich an Nothing in den frühen Tagen geliebt habe. Das Beste an Nothing war immer, dass es seiner Community zuhört. Ich liebe Nothing immer noch, weil ich versucht habe, sich von anderen zu unterscheiden, und ich genieße die saubere Benutzeroberfläche, die Widgets und die Gesamterfahrung wirklich. Ich hoffe nur, dass diese Botschaft in den richtigen Geist übernommen wird, nicht als Kritik, sondern als ehrliches Feedback eines loyalen Fanboys, der bereits auf Telefon wartet (4). I’m writing this as a die hard Nothing fan and I’m sure a lot of people will relate to me.

When I started college back in 2022, I needed a new phone. My first thought was to get an iPhone, but since almost everyone around me already had one, I wanted something different. That’s when I bought the newly launched Nothing Phone (1). It was such a head turner and even though it had many issues at the start, I really liked how constant updates kept improving it. Later I even bought the Ear (2) to start building into the ecosystem, and I even influenced a few of my friends to buy a Nothing phone because of how unique and refreshing it felt compared to the usual options.

Over the years I was always excited for new launches. Now in my final year I was planning to upgrade to the upcoming Phone (3), but honestly I felt really disappointed. And it’s not just me, almost every Nothing fan in my college feels the same. It’s not just about the design or the high price, it feels like Nothing is losing its identity.

Flagship killer identity. Phone (3) being the first true flagship is a nice attempt, but it also feels like the company might be losing touch with how it actually started. Nothing built its reputation as a flagship killer, giving almost the same experience as a premium flagship but at a fraction of the price. Phone (2) was the best example of this with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, refined design and a really competitive price. That’s exactly why so many of us loved Nothing in the first place. This is the same path OnePlus went down, starting off as a flagship killer and then slowly moving into flagship territory, eventually losing the value they were once known for. I really hope Nothing doesn’t repeat that history.
Making tech fun again. The tagline really connected with me. The Glyph interface was one of the most fun and unique features. Things like music visualization, the Glyph torch, charging animations, and the timer on Phone (2) gave the phone its identity. There was so much potential to build on this, maybe even integrate it with Glyph Matrix. But when Nothing switched from the Glyph interface to Matrix, we were all really disappointed. It would have been better if Matrix was introduced as an addition while keeping and improving the Glyph features that made the phones stand out. Many of my friends who bought the “a” series even wished they had the bigger Glyph setup from Phone (1) and Phone (2), and if the company is really switching to Glyph Matrix, then at least give the full Glyph interface to the “a” series models.
Refinement over expansion. My only other complaint is the camera which still feels inconsistent. I hope the focus is more on improving existing products and features before moving on to new ones. That was something I loved about Nothing in the early days.

The best thing about Nothing has always been that it listens to its community. I still love Nothing for trying to be different from others, and I really enjoy the clean UI, widgets and the overall experience. I just hope this message is taken in the right spirit, not as criticism but as honest feedback from a loyal fanboy who is already waiting for Phone (4). Please don’t break my heart again.

Well presented points.

But the community needs to understand one thing, just because you don’t like something, that doesn’t mean no one buys it or a company shouldn’t make it.

Phone(3) has its niche, it’s aging well, more people are buying it. Nothing might’ve taken some “wrong” steps but that’s how they’ll learn right? That’s how anyone will learn.

Rest of the points did feel a bit valid. Nothing should maybe shift there focus towards refinement a bit more.

That’s the sad reality Brother i agree what you expressed here , but don’t expect anything on this community platform, people will start unnecessary debates….. Actually The Phone 2 was never truly nurtured the way it deserved to be….. also I don’t want to get into unnecessary debates, but every Phone 2 user knows the truth…. Many of them have already shifted to custom ROMs, while others connected only through Discord or unofficial Telegram groups….

Within this community,,, everyone understands what really happened…all the politics behind this ..Whether it’s the camera performance, battery life, or CPU throttling issues….Even with sufficient storage…the experience has been disappointing….. Yes, the phone still performs decently, but that’s only because of the chipset it carries(8+gen1)not because of proper optimization… And optimization is supposed to be the most basic part, even before adding new or advanced features….

As a user of the Phone 1, Phone 2, and Ear (a), I can clearly say that the brand has let us down…Instead of fulfilling their promises, they are only doing the bare minimum,,,,-pushing security patches and making a few minor changes…………. It feels less like genuine support and more like just a formality,,, which is deeply disappointing for loyal users who once believed in this brand…

I don’t know what to say anymore…
