Stereobasic Mine absolutely gets hot. Hotter than any phone I’ve held previously, uncomfortably so. However it’s only happened two or three times.
Each time it was a sunny day and pretty warm (for the UK) and I was talking a lot of photos and some video. I was using the phone without a case of any kind, so I’m not sure if the might help or hinder any kind of cooling.
It wasn’t entirely unexpected as my Nothing phone (2) would have gotten warm under the same circumstances, but phone (3) did feel to get a lot hotter.
While it was happening I didn’t notice any degradation in performance, and once I stopped using the camera and put the phone away it cooled back down.
