@“OBiW4NSHiNOBi”#p207824 as a Samsung user in the past I’m missing some additional things that became the most useful for me after 5 years of being in a whole ecosystem. Before that a was okay with Gboard and dialer app although I hated most of Google inventions already (that’s why I had another gallery app without clouds and so on sh**).
But now… I’m missing swipe language option in Gboard, swipe to call option in Dialer (what I’ve got in Community’s Voidcaller). I’m missing really useful and working anywhere anytime Smart Switch (30 mins and you’re having a completely set up device without any Google photos and other stuff). I don’t know why Nothing haven’t done anything like this one because my moving to 3a was a kind of abuse tbh… I also still like Samsung Notes as it allowed me to do literally anything with notes and even editing my own stories. I’ve got a working alternative (not from here) I had earlier so now everything’s filled up to me.
Anyway I’d like to see an option to fully delete some Google apps, not disable. Like I don’t wanna have Google TV app or Photos, or Chrome (got used to Samsung internet and it’s stuff placement), or something other that no one knows for what.
And maybe just to cover all the existing Google apps here to Nothing-like skin and that’d be enough? Like they did with Messages on Samsung. Leaving the brand colours and fonts. So that’d be really enough.
It’s also great to see community members doing nothing apps but like their sense was a bit in another stuff. Everytime I see such app I think “does this the thing that Carl really wanted on a phone, if he wishes future phones have literally one app?”. Makes me think of will this thing be ever useful.
