Since 2020, we’ve been striving to create products that take as little from the Earth as possible and leave nothing behind when they’re replaced.
From the release of our debut product, Ear (1) – the world’s first carbon-neutral earbud – to the increased number of recycled components used for Phone (3), we’ve gone a long way.
While we’re by no means at the end of our journey, we’re proud to release the Phone (3) Sustainability Report today. It’s a snapshot of the progress we’ve made so far in designing and making tech more consciously.

Report highlights:
Phone (3) features 17.6% recycled materials, with 53 components made from recycled or bio-based materials, including plastic, aluminium, steel, tin, and copper. Built to last, it has IP68 water and dust resistance, 80% battery health retention after 1,400 charge cycles, and extended software support – 5 years of Android updates and 7 years of security patches. It also meets EU Energy Efficiency Class A.
Packaging is entirely fibre-based, with 30% from recycled sources. The device’s total carbon footprint is 53.2 kg CO₂e, with final assembly powered entirely by renewable electricity. It’s also free from harmful substances such as PVC, BFR and PAHs, in line with global chemical safety standards.
This report reflects our broader commitment to responsible design, sustainable sourcing, low-impact packaging, and cleaner production practices.
