I got a very good response just now!

They wanted my IMEI so they can push a potential fix OTA when they have one ready.

They are also considering visiting some of the people with affected phones for log collection.

I feel a lot better now about this getting fixed in a timely manner than i did yesterday.

I hope the test version solves the problem. I’m not really comfortable with people visiting me just to collect logs.

Slaying Non mi sembra corretto fare da beta test alle loro problematiche ma soprattutto se non risolvono in tempo gli utenti dovranno comprare un altro smartphone e spendere dei soldoni. Come minimo ci dovrebbero mandare uno smartphone nuovo a casa.

I haven’t heard from support (yet?) so i mailed them and asked them to receive this fix. I hope it will be pushed to our phones soon!

BernardBakker let me know if that was successful. I also wrote to support and got a rather generic response about different fixes for unstable mobile network and for battery drainage, without them seemingly acknowledging it to be a firmware issue (despite me being quite verbal about it)

I also wrote to support yesterday. I did get an automated e-mail saying that they passed the 24-hour reply mark and will get back to me asap. I haven’t heard anything else but I hope I can receive this test version as well. I’ve already produced a bug report using dev settings, maybe they can use that data instead of physical visits?

mythras I’m an Italian user of the Nothing Phone 2. My firmware doesn’t have the ‘EEA’ suffix, and even after the latest update everything works fine.

I just got a test update from support that seems to have fixed it (Yay!) also got some instructions for sending specific logs.

Hope it wont take too long for this to be included in a normal update.

hi all, i’m from Italy and more or less the same issue with SIM. they turn on and off randomly after the update. i’ve performed the restore also. and i add another things also WIFI doesn’t work. it’s not possible to activate wifi. sometimes i’m isolated at all.

i also wrote a lot of times to them, general response. i’ve sent also a log with the wifi problem. not have a wifi and the sim is a problem!
