I have been using Nothing 2A Plus for 2 months. But whenever I put the phone in flight mode, the auto call recording of the Google dialer app on the phone stops. Why does this happen all the time? I have used and continue to use phones from all companies. Auto call recording does not stop on the Google Dialer on other phones. But why is your company’s phone like this? This is really a big problem. You have to do it over and over again. Why did this happen? Can anyone tell me? This problem happened with mine only; I don’t know. Debjyoti hey mate, call recorder using the Google dialler is location specific, you’re likely in an area where this is not supported and therefore has been disabled.

hrry Thank You for Replying. But call recording is working fine. When I turn on the flight then it is off automatically. But in my other phone,s like Moto and OnePlus,, also have Google dialer. But this incident not happned when i turnd on flight mode on those phones.

Maybe I’m confused here, but doesn’t flight mode disabled SIM access, i.e. turn off both SIM and WiFi, so call recording would be disabled automatically? In theory, a phone cannot receive a tower-based call in flight mode.

Is there no option for always record call for nothing 3a? It requires to select each n every contact seperately? Is there not an easy option available?

JahanviSrivastava it depends on your location. This is not available in the EEA as an example.

In NP2 it is working fine lm after flight mode also the setting is same as record all unknown calls.

Google Dialer was not granted location permission, which seems to be the cause. When I checked other phones, they had location permission. Those phones do not ask for location permission during setup. Not here, it had to be done manually. After granting permission, I did not see this issue again.
