The only reason I trusted Nothing and bought their very 1st smartphone was because of Carl, I knew he was going to do something great with this brand. And now Phone (1) has officially completed its 3 year update cycle. They actually delivered security patches every 2 months as promised and with time they fixed the early software bugs through consistent OTAs aswell. Back in 2022, I didnt expect this level of focus on quality updates from a new brand, but they proved it.

Phone (1) came out of the box with Android 12 and Nothing OS 1.0 and now it’s running smoothly on Nothing OS 3.0. I have seen some great improvements and useful features being added along the way. Even today the phone feels snappy no major delays in opening or closing apps, smooth scrolling across the Ui and surprisingly good RAM management even now. With over 80% storage full of thousands of photos and videos it still keeps social apps, editing apps and even casual games alive in memory for hours. Battery life has good too, even now it still gives me 4-5 hours of screen on time.

And as a photographer, I cant forget the cameras. I have used this phone for 90% of my street photography and it has captured moments that mean a lot to me.🤧

Looking back, Nothing really did a great job with their 1st phone. It never felt like it was from a startup and overall, my experience with the Phone (1) has been genuinely impressive.😄
