I’ve been using a few Nothing/CMF phones and showed them to my dad. He’s an iOS user but loved the glyphs, Nothing OS, and the overall Android experience. I’d like to gift him a phone for the holidays purely to try something new! This would not be a daily driver, so I’m aiming for a budget-friendly option.
Given known panel issues on some 2a units, and my own experience with CMF Phone 1, CMF Phone 2 Pro, and Nothing Phone 3a, what would you recommend for this “experience” use case? Should I hunt for a used Nothing Phone 2/2a/2 Plus, or just get a 3a? Any firsthand pros/cons or advice would be appreciated!
